Head Coach

Crossfit has changed my life. In 2010 when I started CrossFit, I had been going to one of the big chain gyms spending my time on the stationary bike or elliptical- not going anywhere- literally. I thought to myself that I would try CrossFit for 6 months and learn how to do it on my own and go on my merry way.

More than 4 years later I am still at CrossFit Schenectady, and still learning. CrossFit has taught me to be more confident, to embrace my strengths and weaknesses; and to challenge and cheer on both myself and others! I decided to become a CrossFit coach because I want to help people change their lives the same way that CrossFit has changed mine.

As a CrossFit coach my strengths include teaching the basic movements of Squats, Pullups, Pushups and the power lifting movements of Deadlift, Back Squat, Press, and Bench Press. I feel it’s important for everyone to have good form in these fundamental movements in order to improve their strength, flexibility, and safety for everything else we do. And I enjoy motivating people to push harder and move faster than they thought they could!
